How many lessons will i have? 

 

Learners at Key Stage 3 will have a Drama lesson once every two weeks. The lessons will take place in the Drama studio (002) Learners will be taught by Mrs Henderson the Drama teacher.

Music

How many lessons will i have? 

 

Learners at KS4 will have five music lessons per fortnight in room G31.   Learners will be taught by Mr Bennett.

  • Musical Forms and Devices
  • Music for Film
  • Music for Ensemble
  • Popular Music
  • Set work 1-Rondeau by Purcell
  • Set work 2-Handbags and Gladrags by Stereophonics
  • Instrumental/vocal performance (Solo/Ensemble) grade 3/4.
  • Composition

  • What skills will I need?

  • Minimal grade 3 standard skills on an instrument/voice
  • Thorough knowledge of Musical notation/Theory
  • Creativity in performance, composition and appraising.

What equipment will I need?

Black pen, Pencil, Homework, Instrument, Musical scores and coursework.
