LEAD LEARNERS

Mrs Edwards and a group of Year 10 Prefects recently took part in a ‘Democracy in Action’ event. They met and questioned Jack Sargeant MS and Hannah Blythin MS, two prominent Members of the Senedd (Welsh Parliament). This was a valuable occasion for learners to share what mattered most to them, learn more about the democratic process, and gain insights into how decisions affecting their lives are made.
The event was designed to encourage active participation, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of political engagement. We believe this experience empowered learners to voice their opinions on matters important to them and their communities.
